Containerships establishes its own container depot in Istanbul

We are pleased to inform that Containerships has established its own container depot facilities in Istanbul, Turkey. This non-bonded depot facility is located in Esenyurt; only 16 km from Ambarli port in a very convenient area with non-congested access route.

The 6.000 sqm site has capacity for storing 1.250 TEU. It is fully fenced, guarded 24/7 and equipped with camera surveillance system. Two company-owned Fantuzzi reach stackers and one forklift have been deployed on site and will be operated by our own staff.

With this investment, Containerships is now able to offer container storage, cargo stuffing and un-stuffing services as well as container inspection and repairs according to IICL5 standards. Opening hours are between 0830 and 1900 except Sundays. Extended opening hours are possible on request.
