ALGERIA ADDED TO CONTAINERSHIPS INTRA-MEDITERRANEAN SERVICE

Short-sea carrier Containerships will add the port of Algiers in Algeria to its Intra-Mediterranean service as from week 37, 2011.

The schedule will be Izmir - Istanbul (Kumport) – Bizerte (Tunisia) – Algiers – Izmir.

The new call in Algiers comes as a natural step in Containerships development of its intra-Mediterranean services which is currently operated with 4 container vessels; offering up to weekly departures with direct calls between Istanbul, Izmir, Mersin, Bizerte, Alexandria, Benghazi, Misurata and Tripoli.
